Whenever we look to find someone to represent us Kathy and I are pretty scrupulous about the selection process. We operate at a certain level and have high expectations of or agent. Recently, we decided that it was time for us to downsize and put our home on the market. We knew right up front that there were challenges specific to this property (it was the big dog in town) and that our agent needed to be up to the task. After an extensive search process where we interviewed agents from the entire area’s top performing agencies…we easily selected Maureen. And we’re glad that we did.
The first thing Maureen had going for her was the fact that about a year prior to us engaging her she was the agent on the sale of a small condo that my niece was selling. This was not an easy place to sell AND even after she found the right buyer for the property a major problem with the title popped up. That is when I first got involved in that matter. Thanks to Maureen’s matter of fact approach she was able to manage the expectations of both the seller and the buyer while I attended to and solved the legal problem. Noticing Maureen’s ability to maintain grace under fire convinced me that she had the “right stuff” to be a candidate to sell out home when the time came.
Throughout the listing process Maureen kept in touch, accepted our input, offered creative approaches, and utilized a multitude of resources to get our home in front of the right audience. There were many folks who were interested in buying our home…some were just plain not qualified, others wanted to “steal it”, one was actually disingenuous in his dealing. None of that mattered because together with Maureen Kathy and I navigated those white waters until the right buyers came along. And when they did, Maureen skillfully brought the parties to the point where we both knew we were getting a fair deal.

"Last November I decided to put my unit at The Gates on the market, as I was moving to Florida after the first of the year. I had been associated with the office of Joe and Bonnie Celli and, even though I had very good feelings about their organization, I decided to call Maureen for a market analysis.
