Dorothy Buse is a native of Birmingham, Alabama, and grew up in Atlanta, Georgia.
Dorothy Buse graduated from Georgia State University and completed post-graduate studies at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland.
Dorothy Buse ha a special interest in public education. She taught at Meadowbrook Junior High School and Evans High School followed by a term on the Advisory Board of Orange County Public Schools.
