Summary:  Pro Gold i2 has pre-defined tracking categories established in the Tracking Tab of the Employee Record which can be used to provide feedback to employees throughout the year.  The Employee Tracking Report under Payroll Reports is used to report the hours recorded in the Tracking Tab by employee.

 

         Provides six default tracking categories (i.e., Holiday, Jury, Medical, Personal, Sick, and Vacation)

         Can enter an event with a positive figure and the system will tally a running balance for the category on the tracking report

         Can enter a beginning Balance figure for a category at beginning of the year (i.e., Period) and then enter individual entries with a negative figure when that particular category is used throughout the year and the system will tally a running balance for the category on the tracking report

         System tracks whole hours only (Partial hours entered will automatically be rounded up or down)

         The beginning balance and usage balance for each category are identified on the Employee Tracking Report by employee (Separate page for each employee)

         A Cleanup tool is provided in the Tracking Tab which is used to remove entries by date range to reset the balances from year to year

 

Procedure:  The steps below explain the usage of the Employee Tracking Tab in Pro Gold i2.

 

Step 1: Log into Pro Gold i2

Step 2: Main Menu => Accounting menu => Employees menu => Employee Setup icon

Step 3: Retrieve employee record

Step 4: Select the Tracking Tab

Step 5: Enter date, select category and enter hours for the event

Step 6: Click the Save button to record the entry

Step 7: Click Done button to save the changes and close the Employee Setup screen
