Subject: Refresh/Reset PC Connection to Pro Gold i2 Database

Purpose: Provide users instructions how to refresh/reset their connection to the Pro Gold i2 database.

Procedure: Listed below are the steps to re-link to the Pro Gold i2 database.

• Step 1: Do the following to re-link to the database:

- Make sure all other PC’s are out of Pro Gold i2

- Login to Pro Gold i2

- At the Main Menu, select the Settings and Utilities option

- Click the Link to Another Database icon

- Click Yes to the Change Active Companies prompt

- At the Database Activation screen:

• Place check in box of option: I do not have a registration code and need to manually connect to an existing database

• Verify/enter ServerName / IP: StationName\progold,????

• User ID and Password: Leave as is

• Verify/enter Database name: ProGoldSQL_xxxxxx

• Click Connect button to activate and launch Pro Gold

• Step 2: Login and verify program version # and database version #

- Login into Pro Gold i2 and verify the program version 3.09.xxxx

- Do the following to verify your Front End and Back End versions are the same:

- Select the Settings and Utilities menu option

- This tab will display your system information

- Front End Version should be 3.09.xxxx

- Back End Version should be 3.09.xxxx
