Subject: How to Link or Relink to a Pro Gold i2 3.0 Database
Last Modified: September 5, 2013
Applies to: Pro Gold i2 3.0
Resolution: The steps to link or relink to an existing database are listed below:
• Pro Gold i2 requires access to Taro Systems, Inc. server in order to operate correctly and perform updates. In some cases, the ports required to access Taro Systems, Inc. server are blocked by a router or firewall. Ensure that the following ports are not being blocked (this may require the help of your computer tech):
- Outbound TCP port 21 (used for FTP Communication)
- Outbound TCP port 5500-6500 (used for FTP Data Transfer)
- Outbound TCP port 1433 (used for SQL Server Communication)
• Locate the Pro Gold i2 database
- Note: The location of the database must be known and be accessible to the computer linking to it.
- If the location of the database is not known, open Pro Gold i2 from a computer that already has the program installed and select the options button at the bottom of the login screen.
- Select Relink and click Yes.
- The database utilities screen will appear showing the location of the database.

- Select the correct database and click Select.
- Click Connect to link to the database.
- Log into Pro Gold i2.
• Relink to a Pro Gold i2 Database
