Subject:                    Pro Gold i2 3.0 Software Updating for Implementing the Microsoft .Net Framework Software within Pro Gold i2

Applies to:                Pro Gold i2 3.06.0910 to 3.08.1001

Purpose:  In order to access new features of the Microsoft .Net Framework software, all computers that have Pro Gold i2 installed must have Pro Gold Utilities installed and go though a special update of Pro Gold i2. Note: Must subscribe to Taro’s Enhancement HelpNet.

Procedure:  Follow the steps below to install the Pro Gold Utilities and update Pro Gold i2. The steps must be performed in the order they are listed and be done on every computer where Pro Gold i2 version 3.08.1001 or below is installed.

•          Pro Gold i2 requires access to Taro Systems, Inc. server in order to operate correctly and perform updates. In some cases, the ports required to access Taro Systems, Inc. server are blocked by a router or firewall. Ensure that the following ports are not being blocked (this may require the help of your computer tech):

-          Outbound TCP port 21 (used for FTP Communication)

-          Outbound TCP port 5500-6500 (used for FTP Data Transfer)

-          Outbound TCP port 1433 (used for SQL Server Communication)

•          Step 1:  Download and install Pro Gold Utilities:

-          Go into the Setup Tab of Pro Gold i2

-          Select Download Live Update

-          Select Custom

-          In the dropdown that appears, enter pgutilitiesinstall.exe

-          Select Continue

-          Follow the prompts that appear

-          When prompted to install for Just Me or Everyone, select Everyone

-          Close Pro Gold i2

•          Step 2:  Download and Install the most recent version of Pro Gold i2:

-          Open Pro Gold i2

-          Go into the Setup Tab

-          Select Download Live Update

-          Select Custom

-          In the field that appears, enter QuickUpdateEntDN.exe (Note: This name is different)

-          Select Continue

-          When the download is finished, click OK to the prompt

-          Select Install Update from the Setup Tab and log into Pro Gold i2 when the login screen appears

-          Close Pro Gold i2

•          Step 3:  Do the following to check your Front End and Back End versions:

-          At the Main Menu, select the Settings and Utilities menu option

-          This tab will display your system information

-          Front End Version should be 3.09.0801

-          Back End Version should be 3.09.0801

•          Step 4:  Download the most recent version of the import driver:

-          At the Main Menu, select the MLS Interface menu option

-          Click the Import / Export Utility icon

-          Click the Update Import Driver button

-          When the download is finished, click Ok to the prompt
