MLS Data Feed Implementation and Technical Specifications

Description:             Evansville Area Association of Realtors MLS IDX Data Feed

Before setting us your MLS data feed you will need to update your Pro Gold i2 application to the most recent published version.

STEP 1  Update Pro Gold i2.  (Requires Resource Center Subscription)

Download/Install Pro Gold i2 updates

1. Go to Setup Tab
2. Select Download Live Update Icon
3. Select Continue button
4. Wait for the download to complete and extract
5. Select OK Download Complete screen
6. Multi-User customer should have all other users exit out of Pro Gold before continuing
7. Select Install Update Icon
8. Pro Gold will restart automatically when the update is complete

Download and Install the latest MLS Import Driver (Unique MLS mapping schema files):

9. Go to Setup Tab
10. Select Import/Export Utility Icon
11. Select Update Import Driver button
12. Wait for the download to complete and extract
13. Select OK at the Finished Updating Driver screen 

STEP 2  Download and setup the IDX Utility application. This only needs to be    done once.

1.       From the Setup tab select Download Live Update.

2.       Select Custom

3.       Enter EAAR in the space provided and select continue.    

4.       You will be prompted to enter your board FTP/IDX Credentials:

a.      URL enter  southwestindiana.net

b.       User Name – provided by your board

c.       Password – provided by your board 

d.       Click on Download.

5.       Exit download when finished

6.       Setup your Non-Coop Pro Gold Offices with Board Name and Entity ID’s. Any existing office in Pro Gold that is not setup with a Board Name and Entity ID will be added during the Import.  Coop offices do not necessary have to be setup prior to importing your data.

7.       Board Name: Evansville Area Association of Realtors

8.       Entity ID:           Provided by your Board

9.       Update your agents with their Board Name and agent Entity ID.  This is done from the Property menu under Agent Information on the Data Import tab.  Listing agents will not be assigned to their listings until this step is completed.

STEP 3  Importing Your MLS data. This should be done daily.

1.       From the Setup menu select Import/Export Utility menu.

2.       From the section “Select from Below” and click on your data feed/board name and click open.

3.       Click on the retrieve button.  This will download your listings to your computer. If photos are available and your using Pro Gold 3.07 or greater you can select to include photos. Based on the number of photos included in the data feed from your Board and your Internet connection speed, photos can take a few hours to download. 

4.       Click on Import, you will be prompted when finished.

Special Notes:

• Property type provided in data feed: COM, LND, MUL & SFM listings. See property type for mappings.
• Coop Office and Agent Roster are NOT included.
• Pictures are provided for Pro Gold version 3.07 or greater.
• Features are not supported at this time but features will be supported for Pro Gold version 3.07 or greater.
• See field mappings for property type and status mappings.
• MLS imports should be performed during off peak hours.
• Recommended that you have a minimum 2gigs of RAM.
• Please allow 0.4 hours when downloading photos.
