Subject: How to Verify Data Being Provided by the MLS Feed (Type C Feeds)

Summary: The Pro Gold i2 MLS Feed brings information from the local MLS board into Pro Gold i2. In cases where the MLS feed does not appear to be bringing properties into Pro Gold or certain properties are missing, the raw data files that are being provided from the MLS can be searched to see if the MLS is providing the missing information. This is only available for Type C MLS feeds.

Procedure: Actions to search the raw MLS data are explained below.

Step 1: Log into Pro Gold

Step 2: At Main Menu, select the MLS Interface option

Step 3: Click on the Import/Export Utility option

Step 4: Select your MLS feed from the options to highlight it

Step 5: Click the Open button to access the MLS Feed Options screen

Step 6: Click on the Open MLS Data button to open the MLS Search screen

Step 7: Select the correct board from the dropdown at the top of the screen

Step 8: Click the Show Raw Files button

Step 9: Enter the MLS # of the property that is being search for in the Search field

Step 10: Click the button of the .txt file that you want to search in (example: Listing Residential, Listing Vacant Land, etc.)

a. If a match is not found for the MLS # that was searched for, then the property is not in the MLS Feed provided by the MLS Board (Either wait 24 hours to see if the property comes in, or contact the MLS Board for more information)

b. If a match is found, then the property is being provided by the MLS, but the information is not coming into Pro Gold. Contact support for more information on further diagnosing the problem

Step 11: Click the “X” in the upper right corner to close out of the Raw Files screen

Step 12: Click the Close button to close the MLS Feed Options Screen

Possible Issues:

• If a match is not found for the MLS number when searching through the .txt files (Step 10), try searching through all of the other .txt files in case the property was put into the wrong file.
