Biography

David Peck is a family man with two school age children and a wonderfully fulfilling marrage of 20 years. He is founder and coordinator of the Montana Off-Road Series (MORS), a mountain bike race series. His recreational interests are focused primarily in cycling, skiing and fishing.
Also, a volunteer for Family Promise of Gallatin Valley, a non-profit multi-faith organization, based in Bozeman, that offers shelter and opportunities to homeless families in the region.
He works with two Bozeman area real estate developers and has given development related testimony on numerous occasions in front of Bozeman City Council and Bozeman Planning Commission.
He is currently marketing real estate listings in Bozeman, Belgrade & Big Sky and believes that every real estate listing should have it's own marketing plan so that the unique attributes are fully communicated to the marketplace.

David was first licensed as an Illinois real estate agent in 1984. Also during the 80's and 90's, he managed a large portfolio of residential rental properties. He has 10 years experience as a general building contractor and is a past board member of Illinois Solar Energy Assoc. Past construction project manager for Ruggles Architecture, Inc., Lake Bluff, IL. Past partner of Aspenleaf Design & Construction, a design/build company in Lake Forest, IL. He has published magazine articles on solar heating and sustainable building practices. David has extensive real estate experience with Big Sky, MT subdivisions including Porcupine Park, Ramshorn, Aspen Groves, Antler Ridge, Stony Creek and Cascade Highlands. His experience also includes transactions in Bozeman's Hyalite area, Greenhills Ranch and properties along the Gallatin River.
An example of his value oriented service, is crystallized in this heart-warming outcome. Just recently, David sold a bank-owned home to a family that lost their previous home in foreclosure. Not only did the buyer get a home for less than 50% of the original asking price, but David located a private lender that was willing to finance it in spite of a terrible credit rating. Turns out, the bank that took the family house in foreclosure, was the same bank that was the seller of their new home.
